Umansky Law Firm March 2025 Community Events
At The Umansky Law Firm, our team believes in supporting our community and giving back to those in need. We are proud to participate in two meaningful events this March that aim to make a difference in the lives of those in Central Florida. Come out and join us on March 21st and March 24th to fight food insecurity while supporting young women in the juvenile justice system.
Second Harvest Food Drive: March 21st
Countless families are impacted by hunger in our community, yet organizations such as the Second Harvest Food Bank of Central Florida work hard to give access to food and other resources to those in need. On March 21st The Umansky Law Firm will be at the Second Harvest to pack meals and lend support to relieve hunger and give back hope. Join us this Friday, March 21st from 1-4pm at 411 Mercy Drive, Orlando, Florida 32805!
Second Harvest Food Bank collects, stores, and distributes to more than 625 feeding partners across Central Florida. These include food pantries, shelters, and children’s programs as well. With an end goal focused on ending hunger and empowering lives, Second Harvest provides millions of meals to families, seniors, and individuals in need each year.
The Second Harvest is a great chance to fight against hunger and lend your support to a cause focused on the well-being of others. If you are interested in learning more and about what you can do to help, visit the Second Harvest website.
Feminine Product Drive: March 24th
Partnering with the Central Florida Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers (CFACDL), The Umansky Law Firm will be co-hosting a feminine hygiene product drive in order to support young women in a local juvenile detention center. Running from March 24th till the end of the week, the Umansky office will serve as the drop-off location for feminine hygiene donations.
Make an impact by helping to stock up the Juvenile Detention Center with comfortable and convenient feminine hygiene options in honor of Women’s History Month. There are many young women within the juvenile justice system that lack the necessary access to care products which impacts their health significantly. Donating hygiene items such as sanitary pads, tampons, menstrual cups, period underwear, and more can make a big difference in their daily lives.
Donation Locations & Hours
During normal business hours from 9am to 5pm, donations will be accepted at the following locations:
- Office of the Public Defender: 435 N Orange Ave #400, Orlando, FL 32803
- The Umansky Law Firm Criminal Defense & Injury Attorneys: 1954 East Michigan Street, Orlando, FL
Contributions of any size help make a difference in the lives of these young women. Community members, colleagues, and friends are encouraged to participate to make a difference!
