Quanejha “Q” Erwin worked as an Assistant Public Defender for the Ninth Judicial Circuit in Orange County, Florida. As an Assistant Public Defender, she represented hundreds of indigent clients in both County and Circuit court. Over the course of two years, she had an opportunity to litigate various criminal cases involving traffic offenses, DUIs, violations of probation, drug and gun possessions, battery and theft offenses, and many more.
She approaches each case with unwavering dedication, taking the time to thoroughly investigate the facts, examine evidence, and interview witnesses. Her commitment to understanding the unique circumstances of each client allows him to build strong, tailored defense strategies that have consistently led to favorable outcomes. She believes her God-given purpose is to help people who the justice system has given up on without any alternatives to bettering themselves.
She graduated from Old Dominion University with a degree in Criminal Justice. Ms. Erwin then went on to graduate from Barry University School of Law in the top 10% of her 2021 graduating class. While attending law school, she was the Student Bar Association President, Trial Team President, and a Senior Editor of Law Review.
During her time on the trial team, Ms. Erwin won a National trial advocacy competition team award and best closing argument individual award, which inspired her even more to become a trial attorney.
Ms. Erwin is currently a member of the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers and the National College for DUI Defense.
