Candace Coletti is an attorney and Director of our Client Relations department. Prior to joining our firm, Attorney Coletti handled various high-conflict domestic relations matters, ranging from contentious divorces and emergency motions, to counseling clients through their copious legal options. Attorney Coletti took the time to listen to what each client wanted based off their individual and factual circumstances, leaving them in a better position than when they initially reached out. Attorney Coletti understands that the stress and anxiety clients face can be quelled through both an explanation of the process and hiring an experienced advocate. Using empathy and experience, Ms. Coletti strives to empower each client by matching them up with the advocate best suited for their legal needs.
Attorney Coletti noticed the difference between lawyers who genuinely strive to defend their client’s best interest and those who do not early in life when her family experienced legal matters. The idea that people can be born with rights that they need to go to school for seven years to fully understand seemed a bit unjust. She swore to make a difference in helping clients and their families.
Ms. Coletti attended law school at Nova Southeastern University’s Shepard Broad College of Law. In law school, Ms. Coletti was an active member of the Public Interest Law Society (“PILS”). She served on the executive board as Chief Editor for the school’s PILS Journal. During her second year, Ms. Coletti worked as a law clerk for a Fort Lauderdale foreclosure defense firm helping families and victims of predatory lending stay in their homes. Additionally, Ms. Coletti had the opportunity to clerk for the Honorable Merrilee Ehrlich, a Unified Family Court Judge presiding over Broward County. Attorney Coletti actively engages with her clients—listening to their stories and informing them of their rights.
Attorney Coletti is currently a member of the Florida Bar’s Criminal Law, Family Law and Young Lawyer’s division.
