Two days after DTM, attorney for the school board called and said they are reducing his punishment to secondary placement for 90 days. He will be able to attend Positive Pathways online so his diploma will still say Cypress Creek HS and he will not have to answer on college applications that he was expelled. They are going to remove use of weapon from Level 4 referral and instead investigate it as a Title IV complaint for dating violence. Level 4 referral will only be for possession of weapon on campus.**
