Client was arrested for felony reckless driving causing serious bodily injury after two people were seriously hurt in the vehicle he struck. Through negotiation and presentation of mitigating factors, we convinced the State to reduce the charges to misdemeanors, allowing Client to avoid a felony conviction. As part of the resolution, Client only needed to complete a driving class and cover the injured parties’ medical expenses.
