Client living with the father of their child. On September 18, 2023, client had been drinking and went through boyfriend’s phone and saw him talking to other women and hit boyfriend, who’d been asleep. He woke up and choked her and she’d hit him and they physically fought an hour or so. Both charged– her with DV battery, him with battery by strangulation. Neither wanted to go forward and attorney advised State of this, and charges against client dropped (and presumably chargers against boyfriend, but we didn’t represent him)
