The Client was arrested for Aggravated Battery and later violated pretrial release by returning home without law enforcement, mistakenly believing she could go back with her parents despite no such permission in the record. After Attorney got the Aggravated Battery charge dropped, we negotiated a resolution on the remaining misdemeanor in which the Client entered a no-contest plea and received credit for time served with no additional penalties, allowing her to move forward without further punishment.
