Client charged with Petit Theft and case was referred to the Pretrial Diversion (PTD) program. However, Client was rejected from PTD for allegedly getting arrested for another theft while in the PTD program. Prosecutor wanted a conviction (adjudication of guilt) and probation in original theft case. Attorney Zahra Umansky presented Court with mitigation on behalf of the Client.
