Client was involved in a road-rage incident after the victim, who was towing a trailer, tried to run him off the road. At the next light, the victim rammed Client’s car, got out, and approached him. Client grabbed his firearm in fear. The victim then called police and falsely claimed that Client had run him off the road and pointed a gun at him. Depositions showed the victim was lying. Police recovered the firearm under Client’s seat, leading to a Carrying a Concealed Firearm charge. Client pled to that charge and received a Withhold of Adjudication and two years of probation. The Aggravated Assault charge was dropped.
