The Client was arrested for DUI and Driving While License Suspended after being found asleep in the middle of the road at a light, but he was actually asleep in the backseat of the vehicle. When the State insisted this still constituted DUI because the Client had allegedly admitted to driving, Attorney filed two motions to suppress and prepared the case for litigation. At the hearing, Attorney presented a detailed argument showing the Client’s alleged confession was inadmissible and that the State could not legally secure a conviction even if it were admitted. The judge agreed and granted both motions, forcing the State to drop all charges.
