The Client was charged with Boating Under the Influence. After reviewing the State’s evidence, the Attorney determined that the Client was not guilty of the charge. The Attorney spoke with the State several times in an effort to resolve the case without trial, but when negotiations broke down, the case was set for trial. Just before trial began, the State amended the charge to a civil infraction and dismissed the criminal charge. This outcome allowed the Client to maintain a clean criminal history and put this event behind him.
