Two sisters were arrested for battery against each other while on a family vacation. Although they were initially not scheduled to see a judge for 24 hours, we successfully moved up their initial appearance to the following morning. At that hearing, we requested and obtained permission for them to have contact, and both were released on pretrial release. Soon after, we negotiated early dismissals for both of their cases.
