The Client was charged with Aggravated Stalking after continuing contact with an ex-partner who had previously been arrested for Domestic Violence. Despite a no-contact order, evidence showed that the alleged victim repeatedly initiated communication, attempted extortion, and misled the Client about the status of the order. Our attorney presented texts, recordings, and deposition testimony proving the victim’s manipulation. After hearing the evidence, the State dismissed the case entirely and advised the alleged victim to seek legal counsel for his own potential exposure.
