Client, age 53, and the alleged victim, age 29, had been dating since September 2023 when an argument escalated on November 3, 2024. The alleged victim began destroying property with a knife, and when Client tried to disarm her, both sustained minor cuts. Police arrested both parties based on cross-injuries, and she claimed he was the aggressor. After thorough investigation, we initiated counter-charges against the alleged victim, who had a prior record. As a result, the State dismissed all charges against Client, clearing him of wrongdoing.
