BATTERY ON LAW ENFORCEMENT OFFICER / RESISTING WITH VIOLENCE — ALL CHARGES DISMISSED

Case Number: 2024-CF-014577-A-O
County: Orange

On October 30, 2024, police responded after a 12-year-old called 911 claiming her parents were arguing. When officers arrived, they forced their way into the home even though the argument had ended and the client was simply getting dressed. While the client’s wife spoke with police, the client became upset when officers refused to let him close the door. He was arrested for Battery on a Law Enforcement Officer and Resisting with Violence. After careful review and discussions between the attorney and the client, the State ultimately dismissed all charges.
