Client’s girlfriend accused him of battery, claiming he hit her after she flushed his cocaine. In reality, Client flushed her cocaine, she attacked him, and he pushed her out of the house to protect himself. She broke back in, the struggle continued, and then she called police and alleged he attacked her. Attorney prepared to litigate the injunction and had evidence of Client’s injuries, but the girlfriend did not appear for the hearing. The court dismissed the injunction by default, and Client prevailed.
