Let’s say you wait until the last minute to get your community service done, and all of the sudden you’re in a accident, or there is a death in your family, you get late off from your job. These things happen, and you can’t see them coming. To the law there are no excuses for not doing what you need to do, because while you’re on probation, if you’re not complying with the instructions any violation can result in a warrant going out for your arrest. Your probation officer can approach the judge and get the warrant put out for you or your probation officer can make an outside arrest when you show up for your meeting.
A typical violation of probation does not allow for a bond. You will sit there in jail until your court date typically, or until your attorney can get a bond hearing set for you.
