Originally facing an F3 Tampering with physical evidence, in an effort to resolve the matter without hte risk of trial return the client to his home, we agreed to an “attempted tampering with physical evidence.” He served a CTS sentence on this matter with a $500 fine. Client was facing 2 felony VOPs and a F3 new law violation. After much litigation and negotiation, the State agreed to reinstate the probation on the two VOPs and credit for time served on a lesser included offense on the new law case. Client was taken off of community control and was to serve his remaining two years on regular probation with standard conditions.
