Client was arrested for DUI while awaiting a heart transplant. His pretrial release conditions restricted travel and required random testing, which was difficult because of his medical condition. We got him removed from pretrial release and resolved an erroneous warrant that should not have been issued. Client was not eligible for the first-time offender program, but we negotiated a reduction to Reckless Driving anyway. Once Client completes the required classes, he can be released from probation, and he had already finished two of the three by the time of court.
