The Client was charged with Driving While License Suspended and had a prior criminal record, which typically makes diversion unlikely. After the Client quickly reinstated her driver’s license, the State agreed to place her into a Pre-Trial Diversion program. The Client successfully completed all program requirements, and at today’s hearing the State dismissed the case (nolle prosequi). As a result, the Client avoided a criminal conviction and kept her record clean.
