William Umansky, Prominent Orlando Lawyer, Accepted into National College for DUI Defense

DUI, or Driving Under the Influence, is one of the most common offenses individuals commit in the state of Florida. According to the Department of Motor Vehicles in Florida, there were 33,625 DUI convictions in Florida in the year 2011 – many of those came from Orange County. Numerous individuals will navigate the criminal justice system with little to no knowledge about DUI defense law that could work to their benefit.

William Umansky, founder of The Umansky Law Firm, was recently accepted to the National College for DUI Defense®, Inc. (NCDD). The NCDD is “a professional, non-profit corporation dedicated to the improvement of the criminal defense bar, and to the dissemination of information to the public about DUI Defense Law as a specialty area of law practice.” Established in 1995, it has become a hub for lawyers practicing DUI law around the United States for trying DUI cases utilizing different areas of science, understanding of the legal process, and pre-trial issues.

Attorney William Umansky, founder of The Umansky Law Firm said, “I am very excited about my membership to the NCDD. The NCDD provides cutting edge education and tools on successfully defending DUI cases. Even though they are nationally located, as a DUI lawyer here in Orlando, I am excited to learn about what I can give back to my clients to help them in their time of need.”

William Umansky and the attorneys in his law firm have represented hundreds of individuals in central Florida for DUI defense. Because of issues that arise during DUI arrests such as the administration of sobriety tests and the legitimacy of the current Breathalyzer used in Florida, the Umansky Law Firm has made it a priority to work for the justice of citizens being arrested for DUI-related charges.

The lawyers at The Umansky Law Firm plan on using innovative and effective knowledge garnered from the NCDD to benefit residents of central Florida being accused of DUI.
