George Zimmerman’s Domestic Incident Warrants no Charge

After a domestic incident at George Zimmerman’s home in Lake Mary, Florida, no charges have been filed against him. The domestic incident in questions is in regards to an event that took place with his wife and her dad. The primary reason that there are no charges is that his wife has states that she does not want to prosecute her husband; the decision came after she discussed the issue with her attorney.

The domestic incident that took place has George Zimmerman’s wife claiming he threatened her and her dad with a firearm. After the incident, she called 911 and police were quick to arrive at the scene. Once there, the police did not arrest George. Instead, they asked him a few questions about what had just transpired. As of right now, it is undetermined as to whether or not George actually threatened his wife and father-in-law with a gun. However, even George’s attorney has stated that he believes a gun was in his possession at the time.

Regarding the gun, witnesses are claiming that the gun was in possession, but it was never brought out. Meanwhile, more details on the domestic incident include the incident occurred when George’s wife and father-in-law came to the house a few days after she filed for divorce. Her reason for going to the house was to pick up some of her possessions. Also, she confirmed with George earlier in the day that she was stopping by. Once everyone was there, George got into an argument with his father-in-law. This led to George breaking his wife’s iPad device.

Next, his soon to be ex-wife called the police as George waited at the scene. During the phone call to the police, she claims that George keeps putting his hand on his gun and threatening her to come closer. She also discloses that George punched her father in the face. To be compliant, George has offered to give the homes surveillance footage to the police as part of the investigation. This all comes just a few short months after George was acquitted of all charges in the death of Trayvon Martin.
